For him it's easy
He lives like snow never fell
For me though, it's so cold
He still puts on a smile that hints that spring is near
While I cannot even smile without fear
He can still play around like nothing has changed
But this entire masquerade is just too strange
The rain never fell on him, he just sings
But the rain on my face stings
It dances deeper down into my center
The wind blows on the memories to this day
But he tells the wind to go away
The whispers come from all over the bay
They crawl up during study hours
Then I cry over what was ours

For him it’s so easy, like the flower that blows off ladybugs
What happened to the white pillow hugs
And the bright twinkle radiance on top the covered earth
That once blessed a healthy new birth
The sore rough soil runs through the heart beat
However waiting for you made it so sweet
He talks as if the red apples fully bloomed
I just want to know when we can resume
Like a pair of eyes in heaven in one circled moon
All these feelings fled in a balloon
I cannot wash away these stains
that have been pierced by a winged angel
I’ll have to work with all that remains
I wrote our names deep down in the molten rock
And I closed it with a golden lock.
