Tear Drops: Poem 1

What's there to know about me?

I love to read and write my inner thoughts

but most of the time they are kept secret

Looking for my fairy tale

but given up on many chances

Major nerd attending Lowell High

I like crazy baking sessions on weekends

I love my supportive friends who are

always watching over me and keeping me safe

God's on my side and no one can take that away

There have been many ups and downs

but there's hope

Tears are a must

and I've had my heart broken too many times

too focus on school and sometimes

too serious

but I know how to have fun

Ask me to sing you a song

or to dance

or walk up to the bus stop with me

Get to know me and you'll see

I'm learning how to trust, believe, be dedicated, and faithful

all at the same time

Roses are pretty and pictures are worth more than words

I miss those who have gone away from my life

especially those who I love

sometimes I think that life can't get any worse

But I realize that there are people

living in other countries that don't even

have half of the things that I do

and it makes me think, I really am blessed

Without God I really don't know what I'd do

I can't imagine my life without Him

I maybe leave Him behind sometimes

and ignore Him and reject Him

But He will never leave me

I’m forgiven because You were forsaken,

I’m accepted, You were condemned.

I am alive and well, Your sprit is within me,

Because You died and rose again.

How can it be?

That You, my King would die for me?
